I consider 16 to be the Resolve sweet spot, you can hit all but ~4 of the dialog checks using inn and item (ondra's gift, hearthsong) bonuses. Annoyingly, going for interrupts can't be done halfway or they just don't work at all so Int gets tanked. Neither prior run was min/maxed (I usually take con/int at 8) but I've had reasonably good success with interrupts on a ranger and want to try it on a monk this playthrough. They carry the early game and later on provide balanced tanking, damage, and CC. I've played through on a monk twice and like their flexible role on the front line. Watcher: Monk, Hearth Orlan, White that Wends, Aristocrat I'm starting up a white march triple crown run and I prefer running one hireling and the rest story NPCs. There IS a lot of good info in the thread and he covered most of the builds/weapons I like (just missing Berathan Priest Robes on DPS and Drake's Bell on Barbarian) but I think Figher/Monk in particular work best as an offense/defense mix. I read through the link from kd_lang and think nerdcommando is focused too hard on min-maxing.
